Oasis Coffee Table

We are becoming more aware of the importance of Biophilic Design in our homes, offices and public spaces. The Oasis Coffee table brings the planting front and centre and is in part inspired by the oases of plant life in the dunes of the desert or the planes of the human built up environment. Handcrafted in our workshop, you can customise to any size or height with various timber and finish options.

The base is influenced by the old barrels used as garden planters, the staves have been shaped with a subtle chamfer between the joints which helps to separate them visually and is more reminiscent of the staves of a barrel. 

The ample round top has a 23cm diameter hole in the centre which suspends a planter made from recycled plastic, manufactured using wind energy and is 100% recyclable. Plants can be inserted in their own pots, or planted directly into the planter. 

Available in British Ash or Oak with a lightly whitened matt oil finish for Ash and a clear matt oil finish for Oak as standard options. We can also make bespoke sizes to suit your individual requirements. You can get in touch here.
