Wood Options & Finishes

Listed here are the main species of timber that we use along with naturally derived treatments and finishes we use with them. The grain colour and tone can vary considerably even within the same species so these images are just for a guide, but we have tried to select a good representation of what is available. We are also happy to try other species and finishes that fit within our sustainability ethos.

We will always try to source British timber first as it has a reduced carbon footprint and milage, but will source European certified timber when that is not possible. The exception is with certified imported timbers such as American Walnut.
